Established in 2020, Bar Down Sports Bar & Restaurant is the Fargo-Moorhead area’s newest family-friendly hot spot. Located in the Lights on Sheyenne complex, this restaurant is a sports fanatic’s happy place.

The name derived from a hockey term – bar down. This is when the puck hits the bottom of the crossbar, shooting immediately down and going into the net for a goal. Because of its proximity to the West Fargo Sports Arena, it just made sense to tie into the area’s main attraction.

Bar Down is a family destination for sports lovers and area residents. Featuring 24 HDTVs, including a TV wall, we are the best place to be to catch any game. Need to host a large party? No problem! We have a private room available that seats up to 70 people. With our pool table, dart boards, arcade area, and extensive chartable gaming including blackjack, pull tabs, e-tabs, and a pig wheel, there’s sure to be something you’ll enjoy! We also have 3 firepits that will only add to the rich, inviting, and exciting experience.

The fun doesn’t stop there! We are also right next to a large outdoor space that holds concerts, events, and an ice-skating rink in the winter. Park in the free parking ramp and come down to enjoy the sights and sounds of all the events on our outdoor patio which seats over 100 patrons! Bar Down truly offers something for everyone!

The menu offers a little of everything, featuring specialties such as juicy burgers, house-made cheese curds, steaks, mac and cheese, soups, and salads. We also have a wide variety of amazing pizzas made in the area’s only Hot Rocks Oven. You won’t want to miss out on this fabulous golden, perfect pizza crust!
